The design that allowed the connection between the SING and SIC system, comprises a 500 kV double circuit transmission line, in alternating current, which goes from Mejillones, in the Antofagasta Region to the Cardones zone in Copiapó, is composed of 4 substations: Kapatur, Changos, Cumbres and Nueva Cardones.
The coating service delivered by RTHÖ, used silicone with RTV technology, guaranteed by its represented Midsun and will protect more than 1.000 equipment and chains, providing security to the national electrical system and reducing significantly maintenance costs.
